Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp)
Kate Hardy, Ph.D. is our April general meeting speaker. She will provide an overview of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp) including core components of the approach and practice. CBTp is an evidence-based practice that aims to reduce distress associated with psychotic symptoms and improve functioning. More recently CBTp has been used to help family members learn key skills and tools to support their own mental health as well as that of their loved ones.
Kate Hardy is a California Licensed Psychologist who has specialized in working with individuals with psychosis for over15 years in both research and clinical settings.
Join us in the auditorium of Good Samaritan Hospital (basement of main building) at 7:30 P.M. for an informational meeting followed by the presentation from 8-9 P.M.
