Valentine’s Day NAMIWalk Celebration

Where: Good Samaritan Hospital Auditorium 2425 Samaritan Dr, San Jose

When: Tuesday, February 14th, 2012 at 7:30PM—9:00PM

On February 14, NAMI Santa Clara County’s General Meet-ing at Good Samaritan will be a Valentine’s Day NAMIWalk Celebration honoring last year’s Team Captains, Walkers and Supporters as well as welcoming participants for 2012. We will have Family-to-Family and Peer-to-Peer Class Reunions and Teams, and videos from last year’s walk. In addition, there will be music, food and more! And we’ll remind you to Save the Date: Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Lindley Meadow, in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. We look forward to see-ing you there!

We are able to continue our general meetings in the auditorium at Good Samaritan Hospital. So mark your calendars for the second Tuesday of each month. We will meet at 7:00 PM, with everyone sharing information and welcoming newcomers. At 7:30 PM there is a half-hour information session on NAMI Santa Clara County activities. Featured program presentation is 8:00 to 9:00 PM.

Hwy 17 South to Lark Blvd. Exit Lark to Los Gatos Blvd. Follow Los Gatos Blvd to Samaritan Drive, Right on Samaritan Drive to Hospital Main entrance. Auditorium is in main building located in the basement.

The monthly meeting is open to anyone interested in learning more about mental illness. It is held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month (except July, August & December). If there is any change in meeting location, we will mail notification to the members. If you are not yet a member and not on our mailing list, please call the NAMI Office at (408) 453-0400.

You will need an mp3 player to play the following audio files. Most modern computers will already have one installed. Winamp is a free mp3 player if your computer does not already have one.
