No General Meeting During the Summer |

at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose |

- In September we will once again have a local psychiatrist present a
medication update: What's new? What's coming?
- In October we have scheduled a program with speaker and panel about the all
too common phenomenon of Voice Hearing.
- November will bring an update on the Occupational Therapy Program at San
Jose State designed specifically to help people with mental illness decide upon and accomplish, Stepping into
Recovery.
Fortunately we are able to continue our general meetings in the
auditorium at Good Samaritan Hospital into 2008. So mark your
calendars for the second Tuesday of each month. We will meet at 7:00 PM,
with everyone sharing information and welcoming newcomers.
At 7:30 PM there is a half-hour information session on NAMI
Santa Clara County activities. Featured program presentation is
8:00 to 9:00 PM

The monthly meeting is open to anyone interested in learning more about
mental illness. It is held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month (except July,
August & December). If there is any change in meeting location, we will mail
notification to the members. If you are not yet a member and not on our
mailing list, please call the NAMI Office at 408-583-0001.
